Boon Chye Ooi

BC, as he is more commonly known, has more than 45 years of semiconductor industry experience. He recently retired as Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Broadcom Inc. In this position he was responsible for managing worldwide manufacturing, outsourcing procurement and logistics, planning and quality programs. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations at Xilinx (acquired by AMD recently), where he was responsible for all worldwide plant operations, supply chain processes, inventory controls, as well as contract electronic component manufacturers. Prior to Xilinx, BC had a long career at Intel Corp. where he also held a variety of management positions.
