Demonstration: Google Coral Camera
Efinix provides a Google Coral Camera example to demonstrate the autofocus (AF) and automatic exposure functions of the camera with the Titanium Ti60 F225 DevelopmentBoard. The Coral Camera module uses an Omnivision OV5645 SoC (built-in image signal processor) with a maximum of 5-megapixel image output. The built in ISP and the embedded AF voice coil motor (VCM) driver allow you to achieve auto focus control (AFC) and auto exposure control (AEC) without consuming extra FPGA resources. The Coral Camera module is connected to the development board through the MIPI-CSI interface. Efinix built a custom daughter card that connects the Titanium Ti60 F225 Development Board to the Google Coral camera connector.
The following photo shows the complete demo setup.
