Demonstration: Dynamic Scaling Design

Efinix provides a dynamic scaling example to demonstrate the video stream dynamic scaling function with the Titanium Ti60 F225 Development Board. The design receives a 1920 x 1080 pixels video stream (RAW10) from the Raspberry Pi v2 camera module through a two-lanes MIPI CSI D-PHY. Using the Efinity Debugger, the input stream can be offset and cropped to between 432 x 243 and 1279 x 719 pixels. The design then scales up the cropped video to 1280 x 720 pixels and stream the output through the Titanium Ti60 F225 Development Board GPIO in VGA666 format. Efinix built a custom daughter card, QSE to VGA666 Adapter Card, that connects the Titanium Ti60 F225 Development Board to the VGA666 to VGA Socket Adapter by Seeed Development. The output video is then displayed to a VGA monitor.

The following photo shows the complete demo setup.
